Biography

James A. Rawlins is Managing Editor of Benchline Reports, responsible for editorial production, content standards, correction processes, and publication workflow. He brings 16 years of business and technology journalism to the role, including nine years at Reuters as Deputy Editor covering enterprise technology markets, and four years at the Financial Times as a Senior Correspondent covering technology platform companies and financial infrastructure.

At Reuters, James oversaw editorial teams covering cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise software sectors, and was responsible for establishing source verification standards for market-moving technology coverage. His bylines have appeared in the Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Technology Review.

He holds an MA in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a BA in Political Economy from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and has served as a guest lecturer on research journalism at Columbia.

James manages Benchline's editorial production pipeline, enforces content standards across all published outputs, and oversees the correction and evidence submission review process.
